I am a queer-identified relational therapist specializing in helping queer folks become more satisfied in their personal lives and have more fulfilling relationships. My professional goal is to help each of my clients become their most radically authentic selves and live lives full of joy and ease. My core personal and professional values include authenticity, pleasure, passion, curiosity, and radical self-love. I aim to embody these values in the therapy room and create a safe space for my clients to explore through cultural humility, humor, and a non-judgmental stance.
I specialize in working with the LGBTQ+ community, the consensual non-monogamy (CNM) community, and I am kink/BDSM-affirming. As an AuDHD trans/genderqueer person myself, I particularly love working with trans, non-binary/GNC, and neurodivergent individuals. I work collaboratively with my clients and love seeing them grow through long term therapy and deep reflective work.
I think systemically, meaning that I understand that no one exists in a vacuum; we are each deeply shaped by life factors such as race, ethnicity, ability, gender, sexual orientation, religion, economic status, relationship history, family of origin experiences, experiences with sex and sexuality, and much more. Your unique blend of life experiences has created the person you are today, full of possibility and containing a vast capacity to make meaningful changes in your own life.
In addition, I recognize and hold the many experiences of systematic oppression and discrimination that my clients face, especially those with multiple marginalized identities. I seek to validate and honor the challenges that result from living in our deeply racist, ableist, transphobic world, while also helping you reclaim your ability to remove obstacles and make changes in your own life. Rather than trying to force our brains and bodies into systems or boxes that we have been taught "should" work, I aim to assist my clients in tuning into and working with their mind and body's natural patterns, tendencies, and innate wisdom, not against them. It is in this way that we can achieve meaningful, attainable, and lasting change together.
